As a designer and manufacturer, SAM is a reliable partner to the leading manufacturers of rotorcraft / fixed-wing aircraft and system suppliers. By using a modular design of single and double motorized actuators, these offer maximum adaptability with minimum design effort.
Dual motorized actuators are designed for maximum reliability, as for example required on fuel and fire shut-off valves. Manual override can be provided as well as position signals via Hall-effect sensors, potentiometers, rotary encoders, resolvers or by using simple limit switches.

If we have not been able to answer all your questions, please do not hesitate to contact us directly.
Our qualification and engineering tests are completed in our own test laboratories at our Bad Tölz site, as well as in nearby test houses. We are acquainted with qualification according to MIL standards and DO-160G.
Our designs are developed on a CATIA Version 5 platform interface directly connected to the aircraft manufacturer or system manufacturer. Size, weight, performance and durability are the foundation of our design and are maximized through analysis and simulation tools.
Our new devices are supplied with EASA Form 1 or COC. Overhauled units can be supplied with dual EASA and FAA approval as well as with British CAA or conformity certification. We are currently also striving for CAAC certification.
Our in-house product support department in accordance with Part 145 enables us to repair and overhaul our devices at our headquarter in Bad Tölz. We provide spare parts supply and AOG support via our distributor Satair.
Trust our 100+ years of competence and join us in our journey around the future of aerospace and industry.
