SAM offers hydraulic valve solutions ranging from simple check and relief valves to safety-critical fire shut-off valves. The latter are characterized by long standby times, which must be 100% ready for immediate use in the event of a fire. OEMs and system suppliers have been relying on the quality of our valves in the single aisle and long range for several decades.

How are the devices tested?

Our qualification and engineering tests are completed in our own test laboratories at our Bad Tölz site, as well as in nearby test houses. We are acquainted with qualification according to MIL standards and DO-160G.

How are the devices designed?

Our designs are developed on a CATIA Version 5 platform interface directly connected to the aircraft manufacturer or system manufacturer. Size, weight, performance and durability are the foundation of our design and are maximized through analysis and simulation tools.

Which certificates can be issued?

Our new devices are supplied with EASA Form 1 or COC. Overhauled units can be supplied with triple EASA, FAA and TCCA approval as well as with British CAA or conformity certification. We are currently also striving for CAAC certification.

Can the devices get repaired and overhauled?

Our in-house product support department in accordance with Part 145 enables us to repair and overhaul our devices at our headquarter in Bad Tölz. We provide spare parts supply and AOG support via our distributor Satair.
